Even though Memphis is nowhere near the beach almost everyone wears flip-flops
when its warm and I have seen many people wear them almost all year round. I buy at least one new pair every year, due to normal wear and the occasional "flip-flop blowout".
From what I saw the past couple weeks; it looks like many people lost their flips during one of the Memphis in May events already.
