Blue Lagoon Geothermal Spa, near Reykjavik, Iceland



This is one of my top places in the world to visit, Iceland in general, but specifically when I make it to Iceland, I'm going to have to go here.  Hopefully they won't have any more volcanic eruptions.

The Blue Lagoon (Icelandic: "Bláa lónið") geothermal spa is one of the most visited attractions in Iceland. The steamy waters are part of a lava formation.The warm waters are rich in minerals like silica and sulphur and bathing in the Blue Lagoon is reputed to help some people suffering from skin diseases such as psoriasis.[1] The water temperature in the bathing and swimming area of the lagoon averages 40 °C (104 °F).
