Quick roundup of some pictures and videos to trigger your travel imagination:
First, an incredible time lapse video taken in Tokyo, Japan.
The newest one can be found here. The rest of the artists videos are found here.
Second, Kodachrome is a now defunct film format that has been said to create some indelibly lifelike pictures. A blogger I read is compiling Kodachrome slides he finds at flea markets and digitizing them to produce a fairly extensive online collection. Steve McCurry is one of the most prolific travel and wildlife photographers alive and is the eye behind the famous "Afghan Girl" picture. If you think you don't know it, look it up, you probably actually do. This list includes some if his best.
Now, what would happen if you combine the best film format with the best photographer? We don't know yet, but we will soon. According to the blogger who posted his pictures, Kodak let Mr. McCurry shoot the last roll of Kodachrome film and National Geographic is producing a special about it. Should be a good one, I will be keeping my eye out for it.

That's going to be incredible. When you see it is out, let me know because I don't want to miss it!
