Shelby Farms Greenline Opening Celebration

It's officially open!

And there will be a celebration Saturday with block parties, a fun run, and concerts at Shelby Farms that night.



Here is the schedule:

October 9, 2010

10AM: Greenline Fun Run–Tillman Trailhead

12NOON: Dedication Ceremony–Tillman Trailhead

12:30PM-4PM: Block Parties–Tillman, High Point Terrace, Waring, Podesta

6PM-10PM: Park After Dark featuring Firetribe, Bluff City Backsliders, and Star & Micey–Shelby Farms Park, Farm Rd. @ Mullins Station

 

If you haven't checked it out yet, this would be a great time to do so. There are lots of people riding, running and walking the trail already. There are even plans to expand the trail too!
