Benjamin Franklin spoke the above words when asked what kind of government they had created for America. Truer words have not been spoken. We are still fighting to keep our constitutional republic today, and I am sure it will be a fight that is never ending.
Constitution Day, September 17th, 2010
Constitution Day, the anniversary of the signing of our Constitution of the United States of America and was the first document to spell out that all men are created equal and granted unalienable rights by our Creator. As fragile as our free society is, it is still the greatest form of government ever conceived.
The National Constitution Center is a good resource for information.
But the important thing is to study for yourself.
